Festa italiana Hawaii has the pleasure of welcoming performances by Mango Season, Hawaii Youth Symphony, Ballet Hawaii, Pierre Grill, and more. Performances celebrate both Italian and local culture. hawaii youth symphony

Hawaii Youth Symphony is the islands’ only statewide instrumental music education program, for children ages 7-18. Their mission is to advance critical and positive links between music study, academic achievement, and social emotional development with programs that service youth through orchestral music education, performance opportunities, and community engagement. HYS' goal is to help youth develop to their fullest potential through orchestral music, in the setting of our Islands’ unique culture.

BALLET HAWAII

Established in 1976, Ballet Hawaii is a 501(c)3 nonprofit arts organization. Its mission is to teach, present, promote and produce dance in Hawaii .Ballet Hawaii offers programs, productions and presentations that contribute to the enrichment of the cultural climate in the community and provide the very best in dance for Hawaii. Ballet Hawaii performances have included the full-length productions of Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Alice (In Wonderland), as well as an annual performance of Nutcracker. Hawaii’s finest young dancers have been given the opportunity to dance with guest artists from American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet, New York City Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Carolina Ballet, Eugene Ballet, among many others.


Pierre Grill

Pierre Grill has been recording and producing music for over 30 years in Honolulu. He's been awarded an Na Hoku Hanohano Award for his excellence in musical engineering. Pierre is often referred to as the "One Man Band," a name that he most certainly has earned for his impressive ability to play multiple instruments simultaneously and all the while keeping his audience entertained.


Mango Season Band

This Hawaiʻi-based band came to life on the Honolulu music scene in 2009 as an acoustic Hawaiian folk duo performing on the streets and in the dive bars of Chinatown. Evolving their sound to incorporate vintage soul, jazz infused harmonies and a shock of funk groove, the members draw inspiration from the sounds of Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, Pink Martini, Sérgio Mendes & Brasil ’66, Steely Dan, and Kalapana. Mango Season is passionate about both their live concert experience, and providing the best in live entertainment for weddings and corporate events in Hawaiʻi.
